Wednesday1.48 - No One Calls Home Anymore
Dec. 2nd, 2008 11:21 amRan lurched down the hallway to his room, rifled through his bedside table to find his phone. Hit the first speeddial. His heart was beating fast with trepidation.
That shouldn't have happened with Yohji. He should have been on the streets, looking for his sister. He'd gone after Yohji -
- no matter that it had been in a car -
He should have gone after his sister as well.
But the fact was, she'd run to get away from him.
His mouth downturned, he waited somberly for Omi to pick up.
Please, let her be all right.
He would give her more space. If it meant she would only run away when he tried to protect her -
There was nothing he could do. But if Omi had found her, and was able to bring her back -
Perhaps his choice to keep her here would be all right. Perhaps Weiss could do what he could not.
Please, pick up.

Date: 2008-12-02 04:41 pm (UTC)Omi jerked out of his thoughts when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He didn't even have to look at it to know who it was. He pulled his phone out smiling when he saw he was right. "It's Ran." He said to Aya-chan before answering.
"Hello. I caught up with Aya-chan, we're on our way home now." Omi said before Ran had a chance to say anything.

He closed his eyes, though he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep until both Omi and his sister returned. He let his hand drop perpendicular to his body, still holding the cell.
Thank you, Omi.
His body took over without his direction, and oblivion finally found him.

Date: 2008-12-03 01:32 am (UTC)The conversation was... short. A lot shorter than Aya had imagined. Somehow, Aya had envisioned a lot more screaming on Ran's part. But Omi didn't show any signs that the conversation had gone wrong...
Maybe Ran had matured a little. Not that she had any right to say, after running away in a fit. The thought made Aya a little embarrassed, and so she focused her gaze on the buildings they were passing.
