Thursday 1.14
Mar. 11th, 2009 08:50 amDespite all his misgivings over the forced nap, Nagi was dead to the world before he even managed to do more than taking off his shoes. He curled into the covers without pulling them over himself and slept soundly.

Date: 2009-03-12 06:58 am (UTC)But not Farf. When Nagi hadn't been with Schwarz for very long, ha had begun to get nightmares. It had always made him wonder, after all, one would think you'd get nightmares while in Rosenkreuz, not when he was finally out of that place.
But that was the way it was and one night, on his way to the kitchen for some water, a newly arived Farfarello had heard Nagi as he dreamed. He hadn't dared to tell anyone than, afraid to show any weaknesses. After all, anyone he'd ever met had turned against him, so why not these people.
Farf had woken him, they had gone through the tossing-about-the-room-routine for a bit and than Farf had managed to calm him down. They had talked for a while and Farf had stayed while Nagi fell asleep.
The next night, Nagi had come to Farfs room, scared of what might happen but spooked by the nightmare.
He'd slept in Farfs bed that night, and many of the nights subsequent, and as long as he was there, nightmares didn't plague him as much. As he grew older the nightmares mostly stopped coming, and his own defyal of sleep and job had broken the habit. Nowadays he rarely if ever slept in Farfs room, but Farfarello's presence still had the same calming influence on him.

He rested a hand on Nagi's shoulder gently, murmuring his name softly to gently wake him up. It was never a good idea to startle a sleeping telekinetic into waking up.

Date: 2009-03-12 06:23 pm (UTC)Suddenly he sat up straight, staring at the clock with an anxious look on his face. "It's almost evening already!" A quick bout of maths let him know that he'd slept way longer than he'd initially planned.
After a moment he turned to Farf and glared. "You disabled my alarm again, didn't you?" he said in a suspicious voice. "I aught to make one so complicated that not even Crawford, let be Schu or you, would know what to do with it!"

Date: 2009-03-12 06:29 pm (UTC)"Ye should know better than that, littl'n. I'd unplug it. Or take it out of yer room. Or break it." The look on Farfarello's face said he would only be too happy to do it.
Really, the instincts he had toward the boy were all Nagi's fault; if Nagi hadn't spent so many nights curled up in his bed because of nightmares, if he hadn't watched over the boy protectively for years, he probably wouldn't be like this.

Date: 2009-03-12 06:39 pm (UTC)The jibe was made in good nature, Nagi didn't really blame Farf for any of the things that had happened in the previous day. No one could stop Schu when he had some hair-brained scheme in his head, not even Crawford half the time. Noone could expect Farf to do just that.
With a sigh he got up, flattened his clothes and jabbed at the on-button of his desktop. The thing gave a slight sputter and than died again. Nagi tried to hit the on-button again, but now the computer didn't react at all.
Nagi never ever cursed, but now a string of rather collorful language in a combination of Japanese, German, Gealic and Russian left him as he quickly looked over the different computer parts.
The perpetrator was found easily enough. The feed wire was quite obviously gnawed on and scratched at, and now hung together by a rather sad three copper wires.

Date: 2009-03-12 07:08 pm (UTC)He forced himself back to the present at the sound of Nagi's cursing, a frown appearing on his lips, which started twitching as he fougth back a smile, seeing the cord almost chewed through.
"Heh, never occured to me to watch out for that.. Ye'd better get a new cable. I'll try an' figure out a way to keep the little bugger out of 'em." He scratched the back of his head, trying to think of how to do that. Best he could think of, without them having to watch Miles 24/1, would be to tape all the cords to the ground along the wall.. Nothing to play with that way.

Date: 2009-03-12 07:16 pm (UTC)With a sigh, he floated over his wallet and his coat and decided to set out for the nearest computer-store. At least Miles hadn't gotten a hold of any of his more... Rare possessions. A new feed could be gotten at any computer-store worth a dime.
"I'll go check if Crawford has woken up and tell him I'm off for a bit. If he isn't awake, tell him for me when he does wake ok?"
And with that Nagi was out of the door, heading for the living room.
