[meep, I was waiting for Manx, but I'll go ahead!]
Sato managed not to jump, but edged his thumb away from one of the buttons near the clasp on his briefcase. He turned with a more genuine smile to face the young Weiss leader. He was sincerely grateful the team was helping him despite the attempt on his life; it proved a deep loyalty to Kritiker, or at the very least a deep-seated work ethic that was prized and rare.
It made Manx's presence at Weiss's headquarters clearer. He had been with this team for a negligible amount of time, but already he felt a warmth toward these boys. They were far more than run-of-the mill assassin agents.
At least, part of her presence. It was too hopeful by far to assume that loyalty was the only reason she was there. He could only hope...
"I have some questions of my own." He nodded at Omi. "So this meeting is indeed beneficial." He turned a slightly more questioning smile at his female coworker. His gaze brushed Abyssinian before turning back. "Thank you for your forethought, Bombay. Now, the others...?"
