Omi felt a little bad for just running out of Yohji's room like he had. But he had needed the time to get his thoughts strait so he could make sense of them again, and shove shoved other thoughts to the back of his mind where they belonged. The only thing he could think of now was he was glad it hadn’t happened with Ken.

Omi went to move the pot off the burner before adding the flavoring when the pot slipped and landed on the floor. "...clumsy..." Omi sighed picking up the pot starting it again before setting to work on cleaning up the mess he'd just made. Finally getting the food made Omi dished it up getting ready to take it up to Yohji.

Ran had only paused to grab a new shirt from his room, a dark grey tee, before taking the stairs down two at a time to the kitchen.

What had just happened in the conversation between Yohji and him was becoming more real in his mind, and it left a bad aftertaste.

Yohji's face...

Hadn't been as happy as Ran had expected.

Because he'd called him on his bullshit.

A nagging feeling told him that wasn't the reason.

It would be fine. There would be no problems with this arrangement. They would keep it uncomplicated. Ran could stop analyzing how he felt; Yohji would stop hounding him for answers he didn't have.

Nevertheless, he had to get out of there, if only for an hour. His sister would be fine without him for -

"Omi!" He made a quick sidestep, almost running into the youngest Weiss as he made it down the last step into the kitchen.

Omi yelped stumbling back in surprise at having almost walked into Ran. But he managed to hang onto the bowl of ramen. He sighed grateful he wouldn't have another ramen mess to clean up. He looked up at Ran.

"Gomen Ran-kun." Omi said. "I was taking this up to Yohji-kun and didn't notice you coming down."

A slight flinch was visible on Ran's face before he slammed his usual impassivity into place. He nodded shortly.

"...anou..is everything okay Ran-kun?" Omi asked. Omi bit his lip reminding himself that everything probably wasn't 'okay'. After Yohji being hurt, and then Aya-chan finding out about weiss.

Ran stopped himself from snapping at Omi - the teen didn't know what had happened -

Thankfully -

-though perhaps Aya would have taken it out on him once, despite that.

"...I'm going out. Please let Aya know."

He took a minute to scan the kitchen. There was no sign of Ken.

Hopefully he was in his room.

"...okay." Omi said frowning as he watched Ran looking a little concerned. He seemed to be a bit on edge, but Omi decided not to question him on it. 'Unless he seems worse when he gets back' Omi thought.

Ran nodded, surprised but relieved at Omi's lack of questioning.

Unhindered, he left before Omi could think to do so.
