Omi attempted for the second time that day to settle his thoughts and maybe get some homework done like he had told Aya-chan he was going to be doing. But after reading the same line nearly five times and he still had no clue what it said he decided he wouldn't get much if any home work done.

Omi closed his book and stood back up pacing his room a couple times. His thoughts running through everything from last night till now. Omi finally decided that maybe he should go find Ken and see if he could talk with him. Omi picked up his home work deciding to take that back downstairs with him as well. If anything maybe he could get some of it done down there if he didn't run into Ken.

Ken had taken residence at the kitchen table, a notebook and pencil in front of him and a Pocari Sweat within easy reach. He was frowning down at the page, drawing and erasing little x’s and o’s and sketching arching lines between them.

In his head he could visualize the sweeping play clearly, but for some reason it wasn’t playing out on paper quite the way he wanted it to. He was in the middle of ripping the page out to start over when he heard the sound of someone approaching.

He tore the page off and crumpled it into a ball, shooting it into the trash as Omi walked in. It looked like someone else was trying to get some work done as well. Ken offered up a wan smile and moved over to make room for him at the table.

[Edited~ I'm assuming if there's gunfire and loud commotions from outside, they could potentially hear it from inside? :3 Correct me if I'm wrong.]

Homework, homework, and more... homework. Aya-Chan groaned and slammed her head into her book in frustration. This was getting nowhere, fast. Maybe a distraction would help... but at the moment, she simply couldn't think of anything she'd actually want to be distracted by.

Finally, Aya-Chan decided to take the work downstairs into the kitchen and perhaps make herself something to eat while she was down there. Nibbling always helped concentration, right...?

She entered the kitchen, and was reminded as to why she couldn't concentrate in the first place - two out of the four men she'd been trying to avoid. Too late to turn back now, she gave Ken and Omi both a tired smile. "I guess we all had the same idea..." she mumbled, glancing at the piles of papers and books on the kitchen table.

Before she could get a reply, she heard a loud popping sound from outside. And then, screaming. Oddly familiar screaming. For a moment, she froze. Then, dropping everything onto the floor, she burst through the doors.

Just as Ken was about to extend a second silent greeting, a loud and all too recognizable bang rang out, followed by a bellow that had him on his feet and out the door before he even realized that he'd gotten up.
