Yutaro Sato stood in line at the coffee shop to pay for his drink and pastry, back to the door. Outisde, Schwartz sped past, followed minutes later by a Porsche.

Refreshment in hand, he found a table and laid his briefcase carefully by his tray, within easy reach of his grasp. He took a sip of his chilled coffee then massaged one temple, thinking it had been a while since he had gotten such a stressful team to manage.

Weiss prefers to do things their way. They're replaceable, though we'd rather not do things in that manner. Understand? Let them be until it seems they will compromise our position. Understand, Mr. Sato?

They got the disk, Sato told himself. And almost killed one of their own in the process...but, he had his orders. The disk seemed untampered with. Those boys certainly got the job done, and followed orders despite themselves.

He reached into his pocket a moment later and pulled out a slim black cellphone, a tiny black cross dangling from one corner. He hit speeddial, then waited for his colleague to answer.

"You may report, Mr. Sato," was all he received in the way of greeting. The voice on the other end of the line was a tepid shell of professionalism. It held no more interest or disinterest than if Sato was delivering a report on the weather instead of something of great intrigue and importance.

"I am pleased to hear that," Johnson said briskly. "There is an underground train station on the corner of Park and Capital. Take the 5:14 express train headed for Tsukiyumi. Get off after four stops. Your final liasions will meet you there to take the disk to its final destination."

There was a pause filled with the sound of a match being lit. When the voice returned, there was an gentle, almost fatherly tone to it. "Your superioirs will be very pleased, Mr. Sato. You have managed very well so far. Do you have anything else to report, hmm?"
