Sunday 1.8 - Pondering
Jan. 31st, 2007 09:56 amYohji starred at the steps up which Ran had just dissapeared.
That was weird.
They had somehow managed to go from Ran making death threats at him, to Ran asking him if he had plans for the day. Of course, Ran had responded to Yohji's answer by leaving, making it quite clear that he didn't actually care, he was just making conversation. Since when did Ran make conversation though? Pretty much never. What was up with that?
Yohji wondered if he was tripping from lack of sleep mixed with the alcohol.
Not to mention the fact that Ran had touched him. It was a simple enough gesture that any normal functioning human being would do without giving a second thought.... But Ran was a strictly "No Touchy" kind of guy. Especially when it came to Yohji.
Yohji found his mind lingering on that particular five seconds a little more than the rest of the morning. Once again, the sheer normalicy of it surprised him. Had he ever actually taken the time to ponder Ran's hands before, he would have guessed them to be cold, at the very least. Maybe stiff too. Ran's hands were for holding swords, not human interaction....
Weird.
Ran's absence made the mission room seem even darker than usual. Yohji thought about turning on the tv, but figured there was no point.
Another distraction.
Yohji closed his eyes and took another shot at filtering all the noise out of his mind. This time there was no one to witness the potential panic attack that might ensue.
