Wednesday 1.53 Information
Dec. 8th, 2008 08:47 amNagi walked into his room and quickly slid behind his computer. It was an impressive piece of machinery, completely up to date and geeks wet dream.
Deft fingers flew over the keyboard, almost too quickly to discern as he entered the passwords to bypass his own security. He'd placed the files in quarantine, for not even Kritiker would keep these files without any security or attached viruses. Despite the occasional stupidity of their agents, Kritiker itself was far from stupid. As a matter of fact, he counted on them being intelligent. It was often a lot harder to bypass the chaos that a half-competent security was, than an air-tight one. After all, if the security was... Well... Secure, you could simply expect to find traps in any given place. If it wasn't... Well traps could be anywere. After all, those security systems might not be perfect, but they were often a whole lot more creative.
Not that he couldn't deal with that, of course.
He'd found his access to Kritiker's more common files quite a while ago though, and although he had to deal with security updates once in a while, he managed quite well.
The files he'd found now had been a little harder to dig up though, and not without repercussions. He gave the computer in front of him a grim smile.
When he had the files cleared and available, he waited for Schuldig to ask.

Date: 2008-12-08 08:12 am (UTC)He leaned over the back to the chair, eyeing the screen critically. He was silent for a moment as he took it in, nodding a little bit before looking at Nagi.
"So, what does it all mean?"
He had no idea. Computers were so not his thing.

Date: 2008-12-08 07:57 pm (UTC)"This means that it's busy decoding the file I wanted to show you. Just a moment," the boy said, before adding more code. Than suddenly - at least to Schuldig it seemed quite sudden - the code changed into text, simple and clear. Nagi sat back a little and allowed Schuldig to read.

Gregory Johnson III, a.k.a. Wenger Jensen, a.k.a. Ombra
Born December 21st, 19__ in MaĆopolskie, Poland.
No national or international criminal record.
Under the employ of Kritiker for the last 25 years, has been the head supervisor and project manager of several highly classified missions. His only notable failure so far has been Project Code 481216: Soundwaver, created 7 years ago.
The goal of Project Soundwaver was to create an instrument of biotechnology that could manipulate sounds (specifically a human voice) in a manner that would cause tangible, physical damage. Johnson made several requests for clearance to test on human subjects, however, he was denied on the grounds of insufficient data. Johnson disobeyed direct superior orders, and had the new and unstable technology tested on himself. The experiment was a failure, and Johnson was promptly removed from the project and given a demotion.
Project Soundwaver is still active, but has been listed as a third priority project.
ETA: WARNING-Project Code 481216 has been breached. All susbsquent activity on said project has been terminated. Data recovery is underway. Note to all agents: under no circumstances should any audio related with Project Code 481216 be tampered with in any way, shape or form under threat of injury or death.

Date: 2008-12-09 03:06 am (UTC)The idea of Kritiker, a group of idealist sons of bitches, getting their grubby hands on this technology was terrifying. Really, the only thing separating Kritiker from Esset was their ideals.
Well... ideals and an army of highly trained psychic assassins.
Everything made so much sense now.
Johnson hired Schwarz under the table, probably to test his new little weapon. Kritiker sent Weiss after the disk. The idea that Weiss had inadvertently been sent to protect Schwarz was amusing, but Schuldig was not in a laughing mood.
"See what you can find about that project, then destroy the information. As far as Kritiker is concerned, Project Soundwaver doesn't exist after right now." He said with an unaccustomed authority in his voice. "Then we'll see what is on that disk, but I'll bet a month's earnings I know what it is."

Date: 2008-12-10 07:34 am (UTC)He wished Crawford was here.
Nonetheless, Nagi nodded. "It may take a while, the information I have was under extreme security already, and hard to retrieve. Any further information will be even harder to get to, especially if I don't want Kritiker to notice I am there. There is a good chance that a lot of the information we want is on separate harddrives though, not logged on to the net. On the other hand, if Weiss really destroyed that factory as... Thoroughly as they usually do, those harddrives might've been in there. Might." his voice was quiet as he told Schuldig what he knew, hoping that the telepath would somehow use the information to their advantage.
"We could see about playing the disc on a computer without any sound systems attached, but I don't know if it is very wise... How long will it take for Crawford to wake up?"
He didn't mean to imply that Schuldig wasn't good enough, he really didn't. He was very glad Schuldig was there, but Crawford was just... Better at this kind of thing. He had the aid of his visions and a brain that was trained to make these decisions.
He really wondered where Farf was all this time, too...
Nagi shivered. He didn't want to admit it, even to himself, but he was scared.

Date: 2008-12-10 08:16 am (UTC)"How long will it take for Crawford to wake up?" Nagi asked.
Schuldig sighed and shook his head again. He knew he wasn't the best leader, but right now, he was all the leadership there was.
"I don't know. However long it takes for him to recover. You know how you feel after your powers freak out and you take down a building? He's got the mental equivalent of that. It's not fun."

Date: 2008-12-10 08:37 pm (UTC)Nagi sighed. If everything was right, there should still be some of his energy drinks in the fridge. He'd do as Schuldig said, even if he had to pull an all-nighter doing it. Schu better make up for it with a cup of his coffee in the morning... Make that ten cups.
"I'll do what I can."
Suddenly, without a thought on his part, the next question came out. "Did you- did you really... Have sex with Brad?" The moment the words left his mouth, he turned beet-red.

He blinked and turned back around, grinning slightly at Nagi's beet red complexion. Oh he couldn't let this go. Instead, he walked back over to the chair, draping himself over the boy's shoulders.
"Worried that I won't love you anymore?" He grinned.

Date: 2008-12-10 09:00 pm (UTC)Nagi shook his head. It wasn't that he was worried about it. It also wasn't like it had been a secret that Schuldig had wanted to sleep with Crawford for as long as Nagi had known them, but... The thought of it actually happening was strange to him. Especially since only a few hours before that - had it only been a few hours? It seemed so much more... - Crawford had given Schuldig the black eye that was still all too visible.
Nagi didn't flinch away from Schuldig's touch, years earlier, when he'd just left Rosenkreuz, it would have been unconceivable that anyone would touch him so intimately and stay in tact, but by now Nagi was used to Schuldig and his way of doing things. In a strange way it was reassuring.
"It's not that. I'm just surprised, I guess. So much has happened today..."

Date: 2008-12-11 03:20 am (UTC)"Don't be up too late." Schuldig yawned, then turned and heading out the door, returning to Crawford's room to check on the man.

Date: 2008-12-11 02:56 pm (UTC)Farf sounded pretty upset. Had Schuldig told him what was going on...? Was Farf worried for Crawford too? Or hadn't Schu told him and didn't he know what was going on at all? But if he didn't, why did he sound so... Well... Panicked wasn't a word he'd use in referring to Farf.
"Farf?" he called out, hoping that his voice wouldn't be the one to wake up a grouchy Schu or a sick Crawford.

Date: 2008-12-11 02:59 pm (UTC)Farfarello was on edge and alert, the hand not holding the kitten twitching slightly as he fought back the urge to grab a knife.

Date: 2008-12-11 03:26 pm (UTC)He than wondered how in the world he'd start explaining half of what had happened to Farf, if he himself didn't understand most of it. He figured it'd probably be best to see what Schu had told the man, and expand from there.
"What did Schu say to you?" he asked, hoping it was quite a lot but not counting on it.

Date: 2008-12-11 03:29 pm (UTC)He unconsciously started petting the small kitten in his arms, watching Nagi's expression carefully in the hopes that he could figure out more about what happened.

Date: 2008-12-11 03:44 pm (UTC)Schu and Crawford had had sex, he'd gone to his room to check on his searches, had found out the information on Johnson from the Kritiker data-base, Schuldig had called. Right.
"Crawford had... A vision I guess, a really bad one. I was in here when Schuldig called me, so I don't know what set it off. When I came in, he was seizing and Schuldig was with him." as he spoke, Nagi's voice grew detached and analytical, as it always did when he was bringing out a mission report. "Kudou was in the room too, but he was not bound. There is no way he could have gotten loose on his own, so either Schuldig or Crawford must have taken care of the rope. Schuldig ordered me to take Kudou home so I did. Apparently, the vision had a lot of backlash, as could be expected of one so extreme. Schuldig explained to me that it is a lot like the backlash I had when I brought down the tower. He was sleeping when I returned home. I showed Schuldig the information I had found earlier on. Johnson works for Kritiker and was involved in a project called 'soundwaver', a project aiming to use sound as a weapon of sorts. Schuldig told me to erase any information I could find on project Soundwaver I could get my hands on... That is what I am doing now."
That was all he had to offer Farfarello. He looked up at the man, hoping it wasn't enough. He wouldn't allow him to wake up Crawford right now. The man needed his sleep.

Date: 2008-12-11 04:09 pm (UTC)He took a deep breath to calm himself, then looked at Nagi with a faint smile, "Alright.. Keep doin' what ye're doin', I'll get the cat all set up." He was putting the litter box as close to Schuldig's bed as he could, out of simple spite for not telling him what was going on.

Date: 2008-12-11 04:16 pm (UTC)He sighed and floated another energy drink over from the kitchen before going back to work. It was going to be a long night indeed...

Date: 2008-12-11 04:28 pm (UTC)He got the food and water ready for the kitten, leaving it in a corner in the kitchen where it wouldn't be int he way, then did similar with the cat litter, though putting it, as he'd said mentally, as close to Schuldig's room as possible. He then went to pick up the kitten and make sure he knew where everything was.
Once the kitten was more settled in, he made coffee for himself and took a large mug of it to Nagi's room, figuring he'd watch the younger assassin work. He knew himself better than to think he'd actually get any sleep tonight, not when mroe than half his team was out of commision and the other member was working himself to sleep tonight. He twitched at the very thought of being asleep and not on-guard while that was happening.
