OOC--i was wondering if we could maybe set up a time on aim to discuss the story so far. i have a lot of ideas as to where this could go, but i'd like to know what other people are thinking. also it's a little stressful not knowing when anyone's going to be posting; i always feel like i'm hurrying to catch up before everything moves along without me. so perhaps we could discuss that as well?

I wouldn't mind having an AIM convo about it, though the timing would be rather hard to get right, considering there's so many of us?

I'm actually not quite sure what time I'd be online this weekend. Maybe around 3-4 pm Friday... and maybe again around 8-11 pm on Saturday night... :/ But I can't make any promises to that. [that was EST time, btw...]

I'm available almost all the time. I sleep from about 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mountain Time, and no work Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

We could possibly discuss it all here since you mentioned ideas for sharing. That would be quicker and easier than arranging an AIM group conference, I'm willing to bet.

I do feel about the same way on the posting. It'd be nice to have an idea of a system so no one is left too far behind in the action to catch up.

As for the current scene in the store, I have no ideas for where to take it, but it would be nice to have a sense of direction.

yeah, i suppose it would be difficult to get everyone online at once. sharing ideas here sounds like a good idea.

farfarello is, right now, basically trying to manipulate the situation so that Weiss will have to explain their night life to aya, since he noticed right away that they hadn't told her about him, and he's guessing that they haven't told her about anything else, either. he's also counting on ran not being able to lie about everything to his sister's face, and on aya-chan not being a total pushover. all of which he might be wrong about. as for why he's doing this, i'd rather hear more discussion from others before i go into all that, because it all might change depending on how this plays out.

Well, that is evil of him. In which case Omi is playing right into his hands by having Aya call Ran for help. He's not gonna be happy about that when he realizes what's going on.

As for Omi, he's kind of stuck. In the back of his mind he understands he's no protection against the likes of Farfarello or Schuldig, but he's at least determined to defend her to the best of his abilities. Schwarz has kidnapped Aya before, and Ken, while weaponless, is an assassin. Aya's an innocent. But he can't stand to abandon Ken completely and try to slip Aya out of the store. So Omi won't be moving unless there's an extreme change.

As for confessions, I think Omi will be far more unsettled by the fact that they're currently the center of attention in the middle of a grocery store. Aya would be much easier to explain things to than a group of the general public.

i don't think we have to worry about the general public--farfarello certainly doesn't--unless a manager decides to try and kick us all out. but schuldig could take care of that. he could probably make us all very unnoticeable. but i haven't talked to fireun, so i don't know what schu's planning.

you don't necessarily have to have the confessional discussion in the grocery store. farf's not going to stick around much longer anyway, probably before ran even gets there. omi being totally bewildered and just guarding aya-chan to the best of his abilities sounds good to me.

if i play this right, it should take a very long time for any of weiss to figure out what farfarello's up to. i kind of didn't want to reveal his motives to anyone because of that. makes things more interesting.

so, mods, any ideas on how to work out a system so that we all get in on the action? how does this work in other RPGs? the ones i've played in (only 3) were all quite short-lived, so i never really got a sense of how these things operate. and i don't want this to be short-lived, as it seems we've got really great people in this one.

Ah. Lessee, My online time falls into two categories.

At work, I am almost always on during my lunch hour which falls sometime between 1-3 eastern time.
I check my email and the rp frequently throughout the day, but whether I can actually post during that time depends on how much work I've got, and unfortunately I usually have too much to do to afford that (the two days Yohji and Aya were posting back and forth constantly was at the expense of my work ethic, I'm trying not to do that so much.) Anyways, I'll be online, but can't have AIM obviously.

After work, I am either available most of the evening or not at all, this depending on whether or not I'm hanging out with genuinelie. If we are hanging out, neither of us will be on at all. If we're not hanging out, I tend to get on right after work/before dinner, and than again around 9 or 10.
Fridays and Saturdays GL and I always see each other. The rest of the days vary week to week. Of course, if a group chat were scheduled, we can plan accordingly.

Anyway, the short version is that as long as I know to plan around it, any time after 7 PM eastern (when I get home from work) works for me.

i manage a store. i am usually here evenings, but i do need to split time between online playing and working on my thesis. anytime between 10pm and 2am eastern standard is when i am around. if you have AIM or yahoo messenger, you can always ping me with questions or just to get my attention. if there is action going on, that would be appreciated. i wouldnt have known anything was going down last night if genuinelie hadnt poked me.

i dont bite unless asked, so if anyone has questions/ideas/insight, please nab me over chat program of choice.

Because of my general retail schedule, following the anytime between 10:30pm-2am Eastern Standard time is good for me. ^_^ And I am generally go with the flow as far as story goes (I'm sort of a reactionary player.

i am too, generally, but when there's something i want to do in the future (in the game) i like to know what everyone else is thinking, so i know if it's possible to implement it or not. if everyone's a reactionary player, though, that's probably ideal.

I suppose I should add that although after 10 eastern is good for me, I try not to allow myself to stay on the computer after midnight (I do not function on less than 7 hours of sleep,) so I very rarely will be around in the 1-2 am range that seems to work for a lot of you ;__;

I'm usually on 8 pm-11:30 pm [maybe midnight?] EST on Friday and Saturday unless something important comes up. Um... other than that, there's a 98% chance I'll be on from 3 pm - 5 pm every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon... but other than that, I can't promise much...
