Okay, everyone -

This might just be me, but I feel like we need to come to a group decision about backstory (in relevence to fieryredqueen /Farf's confession, for all who are wondering).

While creative and certainly pertinent to creating an interesting plot, coming up with backstory and events pertaining to other people's characters might put them into a position of playing a character they had not intended on playing, or dealing with issues they hadn't expected (I have not talked with 7bladed, so she might be fine with this. 7, let us know).

From now on, regardless - when coming up with past events affecting other players, even events that the character would not be aware of, please consult with the player before doing so.

For my part, I was not expecting to play Ran (and me, for that matter) as having to deal with sister-rape, but if all other characters are kosher, onward ho.

In terms of your own characters, have a ball. Throw in as much juicy history as y'all like, of course.

one thing to keep in mind with whatever i post, is that farfarello's insane. he's exhibited signs of sociopathy, schizophrenia, and various other mental illnesses, none of which he is being treated for. however lucid he might seem, he still can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy. anything he says about another character basically has to be proven true or not true, if it can be, by that character. also, which would become apparent in future posts, this particular incident was something special to him. whatever he might think about other people's reactions, it isn't something he would ever admit to anyone but Schuldig. i wouldn't force anyone to deal with something they wouldn't want to deal with, but farfarello's got leeway in his perspective on the world. it's one of the reasons i like him so much.
